If you have arrived here looking for a reputable company to design a conservatory or orangery for your home, this is the right place. We design and install traditional and modern conservatories throughout Suffolk and are happy to meet you in Lowestoft to discuss your requirements.
Our conservatories and orangeries are bespoke made by carpenters and craftsmen using traditional skills, but we use modern fitments and double-glazing to ensure excellent insulation and a draught-free environment. This means that with the right heating you should be able to enjoy your conservatory not just in the summer but throughout the year as well.
We build large Georgian style conservatories for Listed Buildings and small contemporary conservatories for modern homes. Whatever your requirements, we believe that we can design a conservatory that will complement your home and be the envy of your friends and neighbours.
Lowestoft, capital of the Sunrise Coast, is Britain’s most easterly town a distinction marked at Ness Point with a giant circular platform showing the direction and distances to major European cities and places in the UK.
Lowestoft’s other claim to fame is that it was once one of the UK’s principle fishing ports. The area around Ness Point used to be home to many trawlers and ‘Birds Eye’ set up their operation in Lowestoft to manufacture their range of Fish Fingers and other frozen fish foods. While the fishing industry is now no longer the size that it was, Birds Eye still dominates the area. A history of Lowestoft’s fishing history can be found in the Maritime museum.
Lowestoft is also well known for Lowestoft Porcelain, made since 1760, it is famous for the distinctive blue and white colouring which features on many of its designs. A range of porcelain is still made in the town today.
Rock band The Darkness were formed in Lowestoft in 1999 and several of their recordings are either about or make dubious references to the town. One of their songs, Planning Permission has nothing whatsoever to do with applying for it!
In Lowestoft the average 4-bed detached home is valued at £225,000. The population 57,746 living in 25,187 homes.
